Here are a few things I am sure Brooke will not miss me saying
"I'm sweating"
"That is their front yard?!"
"Is she a real Texan?"
"I don't work out"
"Oh you remember her from high school..."
"Jordy"
"Masy"
"are they mormon?"
"I would get so lost here"
I was glad for a little vacation and Brooke and Matt where the perfect hosts...

We hit the pool (which was not your ordinary public pool... it was bigger.. I think The Texans have to live and build buy the phrase "Everything is bigger in Texas")

We hit the malls... (it's weird shopping withour kids) I tried to get her to bra dance with me in the dressing rooms, she just thought I was weird. I guess She dosen't remember us doing that in her basement to the song "cradle of Love" by Billy Idol
We went to the opening night of "Mamma Mia". My trip was mostly based on seeing this movie..I think from age 4-12 we danced in my parents living room to the greatest hits of ABBA from our very own 8 track, I was always the blonde and Brooke the burnette.
We then dined at the Cheese Cake Factory Then watched another musical... "hairspray"
I wish I had a side by side picture I could post here... Maybe the one where we are sitting in our diapers? It's weird that I can say I have had a best friend for almost 30 years... are we that old? I loved my time with her and I am going back! Maybe next time with the kids, they would dig it!

Looks like so much fun. It makes me want to reconnect with my childhood friends. Oh, and thanks for finally posting something!
Holy cow--how fun. I would die for a weekend away without the kids. Looks like you had a blast.
So fun!! She looks great!! I think this job of yours is very cool!
Ahhh Brooke! I think I might have that pic of you and her in your diapers. I'm so glad that you two have stayed in touch.. even if you ditched me for Mamma Mia to go with her.
