My grandma and grandpa Griffin invited me and the boys to Bear Lake last week. We jumped at the chanced for a mini vacation. I hadn't been to Bear Lake since girls camp... I think I was 15. I forgot how pretty it is up there!
The boys played baseball, horseshoes, swam in the lake, had a mud fight and got an education in musicals... we watched TWO! West Side Story and Fiddler on the Roof. Colby fell asleep before the end of West Side Story, so in the morning I asked him if he wanted to know what happened. When I told him Tony had been killed he said "eh I didn't really like Tony anyway." He is so funny!
We had picnic lunches, and lots of great meals. My kids washed dishes and set tables!
They had a great time playing together! Thanks Grams and Gramps for the invite!!
We had the PERFECT camp spot, right next to the pool, basketball court, horse-shoes, play set, and a two minute walk to the lake. The boys were in heaven!
We played TONS of card games and Board games:
We drove to Idaho and hike a cave---(Timp is prettier)

That picture of your grandparents is so precious! I think Granny Griff needs to hold a monthly camp to whip our kids into shape. She is one in a million!
Looks like a fun time. I'm glad you and the kids had a chance to go camping and "play" with grandma and grandpa.
