The last 24 hours have been so crazy! I, along with my family have been through a whirlwind of emotions.
Yesterday my mom called me and informed me that my sweet nephew Hank had been diagnosed with Leukemia. I have never felt so low in my life. I could only imagine how Randy and Annie were feeling. They are fantastic parents and have an amazing family! They took him up to Primary Children's hospital and started running more tests. After a gruelling 12 or more hours the results came back, he does NOT have Leukemia. Sigh of relief! I didn't realize how tense I had been until that moment! I have never prayed or cried so hard in my life. I just love Hank so so much! He is so dear to me and my family. They did give him a diagnosis of HUS (google it, I'm not going to even try to spell it) it is a very serious condition. Read Annie's blog to get the real details. Thanks you for everyone who has been praying and sending positive thoughts Hanks way! He is awesome and is super brave! Can't wait till he gets out of the hospital!
