I am really upset and saddened by the death of Michael Jackson. HE was my most favorite singer and dancer of all time. He was also the one artist I would have paid ANYTHING to see in concert. I believe no other artist in the history of this world can compare to him, he was epic and an incredible entertainer.
My brother Rusty bought the album "bad' around 1993 and since then I have loved everything he has put out. Yes I know he was eccentric and most would call him weird... that was alright with me. He kept me entertained for years! I loved to watch him dance and even feel as though I myself have mastered the moonwalk (kinda).
I stayed home from school in the 8th grade one day because Mtv was doing a full day of only Michael Jackson videos (no mom I really wasn't sick) I recorded every one of them and still have them on VHS to this day. I recorded the interview he did with Oprah, the superbowl half time and countless newsclips and stories. I purchased two copies of every magazine he was ever in, in the early '90's one of them was cut up and the pictures hung on my bedroom wall (if and when I find the picture that I took of my bedroom wall I will post it, it was CRAZY!), the other was put away and kept in mint condition. I dressed up like Michael for Halloween when I was in 9th grade, memorized dance moves from music videos, read two of the biographies written about him, bought his signature black hat and my brother Rick and I would dance his moves in out living room for hours.. I even named by pet turtle MJ and made a Michael Jackson scrapbook. (told you I loved him!)
If there were a Mount Rushmore of music Michael Jackson would be among the faces.
As different as he was, we really lost a very talented musician. And I am sad.

Weird, yes but he can cut a rug like no one I've ever seen. At least you didn't pick a gay pic of him to post.
Im with you...Rest in Peace MJ!
I totally agreed (and I knew you weren't sick!)
